Leafsprout reaches a milestone of over 20 supported IHE profiles at the 2013 North American Connectathon
Mississauga, Ontario, February 21, 2013

Leafsprout Technologies Inc. announced today that it has successfully completed a week-long interoperability testing event, the IHE Connectathon, that took place in Chicago earlier in the month. The event attracted numerous healthcare IT and medical device companies from around the world.

The set of Leafsprout products tested included patientRegistry, docRegistry, docVault, docPublisher, docBrowser, and auditTrail. Among the IHE actors implemented by these products and successfully verified during Connectathon were: PIX Manager, PDQ Supplier, XDS Registry, XDS Repository, XDS-I Imaging Document Source, and a wide variety of consumer-side actors.

"Our expanded roster of IHE profiles - including the BPPC profile-based consent management as well as the XUA profile-based federated user identity - further enhances our customers' ability to safely and securely share clinical information between providers and patients," said Jerry Zhao, VP of Engineering at Leafsprout Technologies Inc.

Leafsprout will be presenting the Connectathon-tested solutions, alongside other components of its Digital Health Suite, at the upcoming HIMSS Conference in New Orleans, March 3-7, 2013.
